PORTUGUESE JEWELLERY IS SERVED TO THE WORLD

In September, Portuguese Jewellery travels to the main trade events in Paris, Madrid, Hong Kong and Vincenza. Under the motto of the new international campaign "Portuguese Jewellery À La Carte", promoted by AORP – Portuguese Jewellery and Watchmaking Association, the Portuguese brands give the world a taste of their art and talent.

 

According to Fátima Santos, Secretary General of AORP, "The internationalization of Portuguese jewellery is recent, but growing fast. Over the last two years, export volume has increased by 53%, reaching a milestone of 100 million euros in 2017. The goal is to reach the target of 150 million by 2020. Attendance at international fairs continues to be the entry into the markets and a way to reaffirm the positioning of Portuguese jewellery in the world. Year after year, we have gained weight and reputation in the major events in the industry, where our companies have the opportunity to contact with buyers from all over the world."

The season starts in the capital of haute cuisine, Paris, which is also the crème de la crème of Portuguese exports, occupying the second position of the ranking.Bijorhca Paris – The International Jewellery Show takes place from 7th to 10th September and presents an exquisite menu of Portuguese brands:Astorga Jewels, Bruno da Rocha, Coquine, Elza Pereira, Inês Telles, Innamorata Jewels, Richart, Wings of Feeling and Tânia Gil.

 

The second dish is served in Madrid, which ranks first in the Portuguese exports. And because here the tradition at the table is to share, the Portuguese jewels are divided between the two simultaneous events in the Spanish capital, from September 12 to 16, bringing together more than 600 exhibitors and 15,000 professional visitors. At Madrijoya - International Urban and Trendy Jewellery and Watch Exhibition Fair are showcased Alma e Coração, Gofrey, Marques & Gomes, Ourobrilho, Segmento de Prata and Soarijoia. At Bisutex - International Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair will showcase Elza Pereira, Made to Envy, Our Sins and Woo’s Pure Feelings.

 

Afterward, Portuguese Jewellery will travel to Asia to participate in the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, from September 12 to 16. Following the March edition and the presentation of the new international campaign in Macau in past June, Portuguese jewellery returns to Hong Kong tostrengthen its presence in the Chinese and Asian markets. Another fire proof for the Portuguese jewels, represented by Arpa, Galeiras, Dos Santos, Inês Barbosa and J. Soares Jewellery.

 

The international journey ends in Italy, where Portuguese jewellery sits at the table with the most prestigious brands in the world. VicenzaOro will take place from September 22 to 24 and will feature four Portuguese brands: A.J.Amorim, Luísa Rosas, Styliano and GoFrey.
